A quintessential Cornish village by David Cross
This isn’t one of the Cornish villages that would appear on a chocolate box but it is very much a real place with plenty of local residents and real shops and not taken over by tourists. It is beautifully situated with views over to Cape Cornwall from the top of the vilage and it’s said that, hwen there’s no mist, the Scilly Islands can be seen. We were not able to test this hypothesis!
