I watched my high school football team win two state championships here, and most recently, watched the Lions lose to the New England Patriots back in 1994. The Lions now play in Ford Field. Probably just have monster truck pulls here now or something inane like that.

How this place changed my life
The first time the clock struck 4:20 for me was in the Silverdome parking lot, before the Paul McCartney concert on 6/6/1993.
The show was amazing.
It even had 50 year old women screaming like it was still 1964.
