CNN Studio Tour

Loved it! We got to see a live broadcast and see behind the scenes which I thought was very cool. Be ready for extensive security screenings and turn off your cell phone and hide all cameras. Photo taking is strictly prohibited. It’s about $12 to go and I thought it was well worth it. Also a great place to go have lunch, there are about 10 places to eat in the courtyard area inside the center.

We did the tour today. You take an eight-story escalator ride to the first stop on the guided tour, and you gradually walk back downstairs. I was disappointed that no photos are allowed, but I can understand why.

We were warned in advance that you have the best chance of seeing a live broadcast during the week, during the day. We went on a weekend, but even though we didn’t get to see a live broadcast, it was still a good tour, just a little short.
