The Fort Hancock Historic District is a unique place to visit while spending the day at Sandy Hook Recreational Area. Visit old gun emplacements that protected NY harbor during the Cold War era, take tours of the Nike missile site, visit History House and the Fort Hancock museum. Enjoy.
