Excellent French bistro by MFM
Let me start by saying that they serve an entire head of roasted garlic with the bread and butter that is delivered to your table when you sit down. Could it really be bad after that?
This is where we chose to interrupt our shopping for a light lunch today. I ordered a glass of pinot gris and was thrilled to be seated close to a table where the chef was having his lunch. They must have delivered 8 plates of various items and he tasted them all. I was intrigued.
Our lunch was a bit more controlled but certainly not austere. We had an artichoke filled with melted brie and surrounded by a pommery mustard and butter sauce. Then we had a salad of romaine, chicken, pecans and a blue cheese crouton with some pommes frites.
A very nice place with seamless service. The restrooms were “au dessous” and a bit out dated. Certainly pricey.
