Not one of the most majestic places in AZ, but certainly worth the time to visit. Spent a better part of the day hiking down river, then climbed up to the mesa. If you are going to be hiking along the river for very long, be prepared to make several trips from one side of the shore to the other (just make sure your boots are water proof and/or bring an extra pair of socks in case you slip into the water… like me ;-)
