Dustin Shuler's Spindle Sculpture aka: Car-Ka-Bob,Car Skewer Sculpture, Cermak Car Tree,Berwyn Car Ka Bob

I was cruising Cermak today and stopped to take some new photos of this.

When I return to Chicago next, this sculpture will have beend destroyed, to make room for a Walgreens.

Folks are trying to raise the money to save it ($200,000) but it looks like this is one Chicago gem that won’t last for much longer.

Farewell Spindle. We hardly knew ya.. Make way for Walgreens..

It is a sad day. You will be missed.
