Niki's aka: Niki's Pizzeria, Niki's of Greektown

The crust is square and thick with that smell and taste of fermented yeast. The special is a slice of pizza with a small greek salad. You can of course add another slice to that if you’re extra hungry. Want a special pizza with the lamb used for gyros, you can get that here.

As far as meat in the sauce – I’m not surprised. The Greeks don’t really cater to vegetarians too well. Most of their sauces have meat drippings. Best veggie meal is a bountiful veggie wrap.

A warning to vegetarians.. the CHEESE pizza slice has meat in it. Silly, but true.
