Worth visiting!
A review of this place: That Darn El Nino
This place took a very long time to get to from Boston MA. It would have been totally worth it if the weather hadn’t been foul. We learned that it hardly ever rains at all and 4 our of our 5 days were chilly and cloudy with some drizzle. On our 1 partly sunny day we went on a wonderful whale watch and saw lots of whales. We actually saw whales from our balcony at the resort. Lots of whales. Snorkeling that day was also wonderful. Many people were overheard saying that they felt as though they had entered someone’s aquarium.
The resort was gorgeous with 2 infinity pools, large outdoor hot tub, indoor and outdoor bars and restaurants, exquisite landscaping and views, an incredible spa offering many many treatments including watsu. The fitness area was also a joy. Each piece of cardio equipment had it own tv. A highly spirited spinning class was going on so the music playing had a great beat for walking fast and jogging too. When you arrive, you are escorted to your room by your “butler” who will get you anything you desire during your stay. There are easily more employees than guests here and you are treated like royalty always. The food couldn’t be better or fresher.
Highly recommended, especially if you are coming from the southwest.
