Wahkeena Falls

While Multnomah Falls is certainly breath-taking, it has become very commercialized since I visited it when I was little. There are many other gorgeous falls in the Columbia Gorge, some more hidden than others. This fall is just a drive down the same highway. You can view it at various heights and distances; anywhere from off the highway to nearer its source, depending on how little or much hiking you want to do. This fall is much more peaceful than its Multnomah counterpart. I believe you can even hike on a trail between the two falls.
