Havana Central

I’ve been here about 3 times. They have great live cuban music, great cocktails (mojitos, margherittas, sangrias etc.), great food (some of the best flan you’ll ever have, and great sweet plantains), great atmosphere, and for my friend, they show mets games. The problem with the latter was that when they were losing a critical game during the playoffs, it put a dampener on the whole evening – but you can hardly blame the restaurant for that.

I prefer this to the union square one for the sake of the live music, and because it has better memories for me.
