There are other more exciting places to go in Iceland, but if you just want to relax, this is a laid back area to do so. over 4 years agoUntitled by rschislerThis is the least visited area of Iceland and one of the most rewarding in my opinion. It has pretty villages nestled in fjords, forested areas with pretty lakes and creeks, and farming country with cattle. Now that Highway 1 is paved from Akureyri to Egilsstadir, I bet more folks will check out this little visited area. over 4 years ago |
