Worth visiting!
The last time I went to this place
On October 6, 2000-400 years to the day after its premiere at the Pitti Palace in Florence-Jacopo Peri’s Euridice, the oldest extant opera, was staged here by the Long Beach Opera. I was thrilled to be in attendance.
