Restaurant Les Messugues

Yes, I know, the name is quite a challenge to pronounce in the first place… Still it’s worth the effort !!
I was there tonight, invited over by a parisian friend. I really had a great time. The setting is beautiful (a pale yellow deco, fresh garden flowers on the table, fine cutlery, etc). Hosts were caring AND last but of course not least: the FOOD was really stunning.
How do these words sound to you?
Foie gras with Porto and Armagnac…
Fresh shrimp salad (I mean ‘fresh’ as in: still swimming when the sun rose this morning)
A wide variety of reeeally nice dishes involving fine fish, fresh mushrooms, rabbit and duck. I shouldn’t say this but we eventually ended up switching plates in order to taste everything… Which was weird because the restaurant is kind of upmarket.
Oh! and the coffee comes along with chocolate truffles :)
Guys, if you should go to Paris, avoid eating in touristic spots and just try Les Messugues!!
