Torreón
Worth visiting!
It’s getting harder and harder to find good out-of-the-way locales in Mexico. Ojuela is a real gem. An old mining ghost town, it comes with its own suspension bridge built by the same guy who designed San Francisco’s Golden Gate! Amble across a rickety bridge with the ocasional broken plank. Explore an abandoned mine with an old miner’s lamp (only tall people receive hard hats.) Avoid chasms and pits as you hike through the remains of the town. What more could you want! Less touristy than Real de Catorce. About an hour north of the city of Torreón.
