Porterhouse

Porterhouse is a huge pub on three floors in Covent Garden. In fact, it is more than a pub, it is a micro-brewery so the beer on tap is brewed on the premisses and found nowhere else. But if you’d rather play it safe and order something you know, they have one of the largest selections of bottled beer I’ve ever seen, as well as a good choice of wine and spirits. The basement offers a large screen showing sports, in particular rugby. They also have a live band every night from Wednesday to Sunday and sometimes on Tuesdays. To round up the offer, they have a small food area at the back where you can get pub grub.

The place is large but it is very popular with Londoners so you may very well find it very busy any day of the week to the point that you can’t get a seat.
