A review of this place: Wallack’s - “Your Creative Source”

From THE KINGSTON GUIDE
http://www.thekingstonguide.com/wallacks-your-creative-source/

Wallacks is “Your creative source”, but hopefully not the source of your creativity. If that is the case, you had best go grab a sandwich and ponder your career or hobby choices.

If you have a hankering to paint or do something art-related, AND you have no creativity, but recognize this, you should head to Wallack’s.

Wallacks has several locations throughout Eastern Ontario and Ottawa/Hull area. The Kingston location is conveniently located on Princess Street downtown. The selection here of specialized art supplies is pretty wide, so you’re likely to find what you’re looking for as long as it’s not too bizarre (or unless you’re looking for small, short glue gun sticks).

Paints- acrylic through tempura- easels, pallettes, all sorts of adhesives, and plenty more (we can’t go into that much detail) line the shelves of this well-designed store, and there are usually a few people around who can show you where to find things. The store plays good music to boot!

Occasionally Wallack’s offers workshops focussing on specific techniques in painting, etc. There is one coming up on December 3 on pen and ink rouging. People can enroll in workshops for a fee, and supplies are usually included.
