Beautiful island, with beautiful people,i would love to visit it again some day.

It actually is completely worth visiting, but if you can afford to stay somewhere less touristy I would recommend it.

I thought Waikiki was a tad dirty compared to the other beaches in Hawaii

On my trip to Waikiki, I stayed at the Marriott Waikiki, which is quite a bit further down the beach and it is considerably less crowded. It’s closer to Diamondhead as well. It was within easy walking distance to the more crowded parts of Waikiki, so restaurants and shopping were convenient… it was just nicer to have less crowded beaches, because Waikiki is so crowded.
