Waldo

Waldo is a neighborhood more or less centered on 75th and Wornall. That’s about 3.5 miles south of the Plaza, and directly south of the Brookside/Armour Hills area. Lots of small bungalow type houses here and retail mostly along Wornall (including a lot of thrift stores). It’s less pretentious and more affordable than Brookside. But a lot of people who live here claim they live in Brookside. My neighbor, for instance, has one of those faux-European stickers on her car that says BKS. I guess that tells you something.
