Worth visiting!
The name itself intrigued me, and I stopped here for lunch before walking over to the Dervish House (all of 5 minutes away – Blagaj is really small). There looked to be a nice dining room inside, but I ate on the large patio overlooking the river. I was there in on a weekday in October and there were only a few other lunch patrons including a few families.
I had one of my best meals in Bosnia here – fresh caught fish broiled whole served simply with butter, lemon, and potatoes. The fish is caught on site at the mouth of the Buna river and was wild and flavorful. Washed down with an excellent Sarajevsko beer this was a fantastic lunch. And for just over $5 I was almost embarassed to pay so little. But I would definitely go back!
