A tip I have about this place  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

The Dervish House is in a magical setting at the foot of cliffs and the mouth of the Buna River. It is so well camouflaged that you can be almost on top of it before you see it, and it fits so perfectly into its space it seems a natural artifact.

This is one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been – it feels a million miles away from the nearby city of Mostar. There’s a little trail on the opposite side of the river, behind the restaurant, that comes out directly across from here and offers a fantastic view. The house is open to visitors for 2 KM and is worth it for the view from the upper windows and the glimpse into an older culture. Women are required to cover their heads, but the saleswoman at the entrance lent me a scarf and tied it properly for me.
