Parkway Diner

This one is excellent – gleaming chrome, chipped formica in the bathroom, food on the menu – it has it all. Don’t you love it when every menu description contains the word “delicious”? That is all it takes to sell me on trying that homemade donut (deep fried and covered in cinnamon sugar). Today I ate breakfast there. The coffee was hot and bottomless and the home fries were soft with a crunchy crust on one side. Pull off the Merritt (exit 35) and give it a try.
