Kubo hachiman shrine  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

It’s said that this shrine started in 859. The buildings were built aroun 1550, more 450 years ago. Shrine is for Shinto, but this shrine have both factors, Shinto and Buddist, because this bell is for temple(buddism). I’ve got the reason why the most of Japanese should do 2 different types of ceremony, at the wedding go to Shrine, and the another time at the funeral go to Temple. You can see the grave in temple. I think there are some graves in Shrine, but most graves in Japan in temple as far as I know(except Christian)

mm, getting mixed up?
maybe…so..
