Jefferson City

I spent a week in Jeff City on a business trip. I enjoyed it. There are a few of nice little shops downtown and some nice restaurants. The capitol is amazing and some of the old churches are picture perfect. If you even go drop by Paddy Malone’s for a beer. I would visit again but would not move there.

We actually got off the interstate (highway?) to get gas and a potty break. But then we found a Hastings, which is where i work in my home town. And well it made me depressed because my store should be like that. So yeah. But the capitol building was pretty.

I’ve never been inside the capital but I’ve heard it’s amazing. I have however had a huge 6 scoop sundae from Central Dairy for like $3 including tax…and I have dined on the terrace of Summit Lake Winery…

I practically lived here for 1.5 years…

Worth visiting only because it’s the capital. There isn’t a lot to do here other than historic touristy stuff.
