I’ve lived here for my entire life. It would be a great idea to come and visit to tailgate and see a Packer game (NFL’s greatest fans). Other than that, there is not much to the city. The reason Green Bay is a big city is because it is a convenient port and that’s what dominates the city, so we’ve got paper mills. The river is disgusting and likewise the bay. The smokestacks make for a beautiful scenery as well. Downtown consists of office buildings and some mediocre shops and malls. If you were to visit this region of Wisconsin, I would even suggest the nearby downtown De Pere over Green Bay. Otherwise, you could visit other regions of Wisconsin like the scenic Door County, Appleton as an entertainment and shopping hub, or Madison to hang with the party crowds.

Packers! by MechAngel23

I wasn’t born here, but I have lived here for most of my life. I am not into big cities, so this is a nice, quaint little place to live. Even if you are not a Packers fan, the fandom here is amazing — never in my life have a seen an entire city shut down completely because of a sport! I am not a huge football fan, so this town does get pretty boring. But I suppose I can’t complain. Beautiful in Autumn and Spring (and as long as you are in Green Bay, you might as well keep sight-seeing north of here).

Lovely place to visit, and a great place to live if you do not enjoy big towns, but find yourself wanting more from small towns.

Both my mom and dad were born in Green Bay, WI. They always tell the story of how they were born in the same hospital two days apart. They met during a high school production of Show Boat, and the rest is history. The majority of my extended family still live in Green Bay, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

I used to live here. Unless you enjoy talking football 24/7 and going bowling, there is nothing to do. Green Bay can be a beautiful city to see during spring and fall as long as you drive along the bay and stay on the outskirts. IMHO, drive north for about an hour and visit some of the national parks. Those are definately worth the drive.

Well, I’ve never dispised a city so much in my life. So in that respect, my life has changed. I feel retained and held back by this city. This town is basically football, beer and hunting. Oh, and not to mention the people aren’t as great as some might think.
