Mesquite

The Town East Mall is in Mesquite! It’s the mall all my friends like to go to. It is the closest mall to me. I like it. Food court is the third story! Hot Topic and the bookstore are on the second story. The pet store and Spencer’s is on the first floor.

I was doing the residency shuffle, you know the one where you go and try to kiss up to a residency director; and you have no chance of getting the program?

Dont even think about coming over here for a vacation

I met some wonderful people in Mesquite when my friend I drove from NY to LA many years ago. We actually spent the New Year’s eve there – that was not in the plans, but we blew the brakes on our 1977 Olds. My new friends gave us shelter, food and entertainment for three long days. It was quite an imposition on alsmost perfect strangers, but they were determined to show the famed Texan hospitality.

Cara, I will always think fondly of you.

I have lived in Mesquite my whole life and absolutely love it here. My family is still here and I can’t think of any other place I’d rather live.

The only time I come to Mesquite is when I visit my father, or when I have friends in from out of town that want to see something country – I take them to that Shepler’s place by Town East Mall.
