A lot of people seem to not like Sioux Falls because there “isn’t much to do” or it isn’t very cultured. However, I’d beg to differ, especially on culture.
The Pavilion has more than just “the occasional concert” – we have our own orchestra with a world-class maestro who are playing some incredible amazing and difficult stuff.
Downtown has street musicians and “First Fridays” when art galleries are opened and Phillips Ave is buzzing.
Check out Black Sheep coffee – cool spot, and Monks and Latitude 41 on 8th downtown are great places for nightlife (so I hear – as I don’t usually do much of that.)
Great place for families, MSN just named it number one place to find a keep a job.
Granted, some of the city planning is bad, the driving is horrible often and there are other things that might not be as amazing as bigger cities – but if you’re looking for a great place to live and work – I’d recommend it.over 4 years ago
