Visited yale University and drank at a bar in front of the university that is frequented by college students.

I personally dig New Haven. It’s extremely pedestrian-friendly.

I am a member of a number of special interest groups, most of them to do with programming or math in some way. They’re a fun way to meet like minded people.

Still, one thing I have always thought would be a fun experiment is a Random Meetup. The idea would be to bring people together who’d be unlikely to ever meet otherwise. Yeah, it might be awkward at first, but it also might really give people a chance to experience something truly different for a change.

New Haven has a lot of coffee shops. All we’d need are a few people, a date, and a vague time.
