Write an entry Entries about this placeThis is where I planted my 3rd office by daybreakcsPasadena is a nice little town. It gets kinda hot out there and the rent is high. The only way into Pasadena is on the 110 or 210 freeways. I think alot of USC alumnai live out in Pasadena. This is where I opened my 3rd anger management office. Buisness is decent. I share the office space with a acupuncturist. over 5 years agoPasadena is by jameseyPasadena is one of the few places in LA where you really feel like you are part of the community. This is because there are few strip malls, you can walk to everything you need, the city has pride, and there is a sense of history in the city. Pasadena is quiet, but not sleepy. It’s urban, but not dirty. It’s bustling, but not too busy to not care. over 5 years agoLovely, high end city by onecrazydancerThe perfect tree-lined streets give Pasadena the loveliest neighborhoods. It’s what attracted me to this place and I’m glad I currently live near enough to be able to visit this place when I can. Someday I’ll definitely move to this place! Nice location, not too far from the big LA hustle and bustle yet you can experience a more quiet and less congested city. Nice weather too. A lot of greens and mountains all around. There’s a lot of nice shops and restaurants in town. Just wished though that they’re not too expensive. over 6 years agoWorth spending some time, especially if you know a local! by NedRaggettAll their suggestions will be gold, as I’ve found. At once cozy and sprawling, a very LA suburban dichotomy that I appreciate, actually. If you’ve only been to the Rose Bowl, you’ve not been around, and I’ve only scratched the surface — need to get back there more often (and the Gold Line is a very handy way to do that even for a carless sort like me!). over 6 years agoSee all 39 entries |
Ask a question Travel questionsstyrofoam44 asks,“So, I will be moving to Pasadena late this summer. I don't know the area well and was wondering if anyone had any advice to give as far as where a poor college student should look for housing. That's vague, but thanks for any responses.” over 6 years ago |
