A Wedding in 1999 | A Journey By Train | And The Return by Raymond Marr

The last time I was here in Fort Lauderdale my sister was getting married, I was the only one in the immediate family who was able to make the trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed, it in particular the Jungle Queen Cruise to Eat Unlimited “Shelled” Shrimp, but it was a nice experience to say the least.

It was interesting that I took the trip there by train, and after going across the country from the West Coast to the East Coast, I saw considerable differences in weather, I was decked out wearing my Black Leather Trench Coat, since most of the places before Florida were snowing.

Yet when I got out of the Amtrak Train that Started in Salinas, CA I thought I had been in the train longer then I expected, because the humidity really surprised me. Considering this was in January, I wonder how it must be in the Summer?

Loved the Tut exhibit when I was there by rosemary

I had to wait for the exhibit to go through so while I waited, there was a jazz fest going on that I listened to good music, had good food, and also saw a movie over at the shopping area. Had a great time

I had a wonderful time at the Lasso Summit in March. I learned a great deal and I got to meet a lot of people in person that I have communicated with for years online. Learn about Lasso.
