It’s not awful, unlike what everyone seems to say. Sure some parts aren’t as lovely as others, but I’m not complaining. The schools are good, way better than Dallas schools and there are some nice neighborhoods.

Garland sucks.

It is the worst place i have ever lived.

The schools suck.

The people are rude.

I highly recomend you to not come here or dallas ever.

It would be a waste of money.

Small town is growing up by Izanami

Garland just got its first shopping mall. They talked about it for over 20 years and it became a reality in October, 2005. They have a Performing Arts Center that is presenting some impressive theater and symphony programs.

I was born and raised in Garland. It isn’t anything special but I love it because it’s my hometown. And you can’t forget, it’s what Kind of the Hill is based on.

I grew up here. It’s the most uneventful town ever. It’s a city, with the feel of a small town. I would forget at times that we had about seven high schools within the district. Definitely not worth visiting or living or anything else, really.
