We arrived in the evening and stayed overnight to catch a plane home the next morning. We drove around downtown, looking for a place to eat. We finally stopped at a pretty hip-looking place called the Mellow Mushroom. We had pizzas. I rather liked the restaurant. I dropped the coworkers off at the airport and stayed on for a few extra days, as my brother, dougviii, lives about 80 miles away. over 4 years agoUntitled by Jesse RinyuThere’s a small park in the middle of town, which is a great place to meet have a picnic and meet homeless people. I remember Raleigh as the place where I learned what it means to be able to cut the humidity with a knife. But it is a beautiful place and seems like a pretty good place to live. great golf courses. Saw my first college football game there and came to understand a little of how crazy that actually is! NC State vs. Pitt and the home team one.
