Miami

I don’t really want to go but I’ll be there September 2009. My aunt has planned a family reunion cruise and the ship leaves from Miami. I was thinking of getting in a day or so early and checking out the sites. Maybe seeing what all the fuss is about.

More than a week there, with a rental car. I covered some ground: South Beach, Little Havana, Coconut Grove, the Keys, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Wolfsonian museum, airboat tour of the Everglades, Cuban food at Versailles, the slummy downtown and more. I also saw immense wealth and sickening poverty. I like to travel, but Miami is one of the few cities I wouldn’t return to, even for free.

Miami is amazing! It is so much different from Michigan!!!! I had the greatest time here, and I am going to move there.. eventually. I love the atmosphere, and everytime I think of Miami, I get a sensational rush of nostalgia.

So for 4 years i’ve been trying to move there(MIAMI)...and this year i just think i might!!!!any places besides miami i should go? ...please me know…is this a good move for a 21 year wild child!??

I’m actually planning a trip there for June 08 for my little sister’s and my friend’s birthdays. We can’t wait. We are looking for flights and hotels now. Should have everything paid for by Tuesday.
