Denver aka: The Mile High City,Queen City of the Plains

I’m not from Denver, I’m actually from Florida, but I have been a HUGE Broncos fan since the Elway days, which is about what time I visited Denver. I loved it while I was there and would go back in a heartbeat.

I lived here for 3 years. The weather was great. The city was clean and great for young singles. The mountains are beautiful and fun all year round. I would go back if I had the chance.

I only stayed a few days but I will be coming back, don’t you worry!!!

Such beautiful scenery

I flew into Denver airport and noticed as I was landing that I couldn’t see any mountains. I assumed because of Denver’s reputation as “mile high” that they would immediately visible. As I was driving downtown I crested a freeway exit and . . . BAM, there they are, the Rockies, taking up all my attention. I was looking at the sun setting behind the peaks and totally missed my freeway exit.
