I’m used to crazy traffic and awful drivers… I’m from Los Angeles, after all. But it’s the ROADS in Boston that are terrible! Most of it’s one-way, there are spontaneous turning lanes (I went in circles!), and it’s not exactly a nice, sensible grid system. Parking is super-expensive in most places, too. But… once you’re walking, it’s actually pretty nice. Lots of history, culture, and pretty things to look at. over 2 years agoUntitled by Sweetheart91I’m going to be visiting Boston in February, the first time I ever visit the USA, and I’m really excited, from what I’ve read and seen in photos, this seems like a beautiful city with a rich culture and history :-) over 2 years agoMaybe... by thisisjackyBoston is worth visiting, depending on what you want from your visit. It has great things to do… strolling through the North End, walking the Freedom Trail, visiting the science museum, going to a Red Sox game, are all fun and interesting. Also, the city is very pretty, with cobblestone streets and lots of greenery. However, I don’t love it as a city in itself. Most of the bars/restaurants lack any real personality and the city is mildly overrun with local college students. over 2 years agoSee all 521 entries |
