night in boston  — 1 week ago

    Worth visiting!

my mom and i set out for a night in boston while the rest of my family went to see a red sox game. we drove to harvard square and took the subway to government center i think. as soon as we got out we heard what sounded like a rap concert. we listenend for awhile then noticed a group of break dancers and that was pretty cool to watch. we walked up to the north end and just then it started raining so we rode the subway back to harvard square and ran into bertucci’s for dinner. and in the morning we went to a service at harvard memorial church.

... was Friday! Finally I got to see one of America’s greatest cities. You Bostonians truly live in an amazing place! Now if only I could get to the Sox game this Friday, that would truly make my visit 100% perfect. :)

I’m going July 16-26, and I REALLY wanted to go to a Sox game, but apparently I have to come up with a fat wad of cash since the Yankees will be in town. :( So I suppose I’ll be watching from a bar, any suggestions?

Used to live here and have great memories of what a great city this is. Would love to take a week and return and remember all the great times I had here.

I’m meeting up with some of my old co-workers in Boston the last weekend in July. We’re going to the Red Sox/Yankees game, and I absolutely cannot wait! I’m really excited about seeing my old friends that I miss terribly… and finally getting to visit Boston. This is shaping up to be an incredible summer.

Why I recommend this place to visitors  — 3 months ago

    Worth visiting!

I went to Boston for the third time last weekend. I remember loving it when I was there the previous time, but I fell in love with it once again last weekend.

It’s just such a fantastic city! I love how clean it is. I love how historic it is yet still with a modern touch. I love how manageable it is to travel around. It doesn’t have the big name tourist traps that New York City has become famous for, like Statue of Liberty or Empire State Building, but it does have that charm and homey feeling that I haven’t quite found in New York. Maybe I would feel different about New York if I actually stayed there for a few nights instead of doing day trips. New York is a fantastic city that has everything imaginable under the sun, but that also makes it a little bit cold and impersonal at times.

All in all, I had a great weekend in Boston.

Amazing Boston  — 3 months ago

    Worth visiting!

I enjoyed my visit to Boston. Luckily the weather was great and I was able to see many sites. The history, the architecture, the food and the sports were the highlights. The trains made it easy to get around the city and the city seemed do clean and the people friendly. The history of this place is amazing and now some of the things I was taught years ago make more sense. The chowder was great, so to was the Boston Creme pie, boston baked beans, Nathan hotdogs, the pizza, but the “Harpoon” beer was the best.
