Dallas

I didn’t get a chance to roll down the Grassy Knoll.

One of the best cities I’ve been to. Ok, maybe I’m a little biased. But it’s a great place to live.

I currently live in Dallas…or the “DFW” area….for ministry school…it’s awesome! :)

I have been to Dallas twice for the RFID World conferences in ‘05 and ‘06. The people were very friendly, the steaks are to die for, and the March weather was an awful lot better than back home in Rochester, NY.

Dallas can be achingly slowly maneauvered by bus if you must, but it is not the kind of city that you go to do in one day.

Dallas can be very expensive, but it is a shoppers’ paradise. Learn about the city before you go. Determine your interests and go from there. The museums in Dallas and Fort Worth are really awesome.

So you could say I know this place pretty darn well. Before living here, I lived in Oakland, California, a pretty quiet place. When I moved here, I got a totally different vibe. From point A to point B, so to speak, you get all sorts of things. Everything and everyone is wonderfully colorful and diverse. I’d have to say that my favorite thing about living here is visiting downtown. I live near the edge of Richardson, where it’s quiet and peaceful. Going downtown, especially at night, the atmosphere is practically the opposite. Downtown, you could find any and everything.

I just had a day to visit by Cab, but it seems to be a nice and big city! I wanna go back!!!

I don’t know…I just didn’t get a very good sense of community here.

dallas is awesome. theres stuff to do anytime of the day. watch out for crime though. alot of great bands play at venues in dallas too.
