We stayed in Dallas when we flew in for the state fair. Let me just say the fair was AMAZING! We came all the way from Philadelphia and it did NOT dissappoint. The dallas aquarium may look like an abandonded building from outside but trust me.. if you enter it you will be AMAZED by all they have there. Its like walking through a jungle. They even have a jaguar. There is a towering waterfall from the third floor down into the tank where they keep a bunch of aquatic critters like turtles fish and even a manatiee! Another spot of interest: The Moth. AMAZING food and a huge selection of beer for all you hopheads out there. http://www.mothinthe.net/

Worth visiting... by lovewillconcur77

Not worth living there. After living there the first 30 years of my life I moved 850 miles away. Been gone for 3 years and the only thing I miss are my friends.

Too busy, too crowed, too rushed, too violent, too tense.

I prefer the laid back area in the panhandle of Florida.

Not what you'd expect by Jami Hart

I lived there for a year and loved it. Beautiful city (with the exception of some neighborhoods, as with most cities) with a lot to do. Definitely not as “redneck” as most expect. You just need to get used to the weather, which for me, took forever.
