Masaya

Remember to visit BOTH markets. There is the general market for day to day items and also an artisan market – both have unique items and if you are a market freak like I am then it will be more than worth your time.

This is where I went on a Work and Witness retreat. If you’re ever in town, visit the 3rd Masaya Church of the Nazarene.

Everytime I see the same Masaya, I hear the guys on the buses driving by yelling Masaya Masaya Masaya over and over. It also has a fantastic market at the bus station where you can buy great local handicrafts as well as anything else you might need.
