New England cruise

Okay well technically I live here and I love it. I don’t think I would like living anywhere else. I’m always finding somewhere new to discover in this city and now it is a goal of mine each year to have some “tourist” days within my own city. It’s a lot of fun and you never know what adventures and discoveries will await you.

I was born here! And it really is a beautiful place to visit. Great fish & chips!!

A year ago I knew little about Halifax beyond it’s name. Now it is a the top of the list of places I want to go. I want to visit the citadel, I want to play frisbee and watch kites at the beach, I want to explore the streets, and experience the sounds and the smells of this city, I want to listen to some great east coast music live. Most of all I want to embrace my best friend.

The best places to visit are those where a piece of your heart is. A great big piece of my heart is in halifax.

I was born. And then I left. And now I’d like to go back.

It was like 4 years ago and me and my bro and my mom got stranded at this one airport because of snow on our way to Newfoundland. So, we stayed with my dad’s other family and they were really nice about it. We hadn’t met before so it wuz kinda weird at first, but we all warmed up to it and soon I connected with my dad’s cousin’s daughter (???) and we still stay in touch. We didn’t do too much besides a movie. kinda silly. But i will definitely go again.

It was so beautiful there. It was straight out of a story book with its port side town charm. You could go into little shops and the store owners would be there and would offer you a mug of hot apple cider. It was awesome.

I was very young at the time I went. The ocean, again, was wonderful. I love the oceans. Local people were very sympatic, especialy in Peggy’s cove. Im sure americans loved the place, on 9/11/2001. The lobsters are so big and so good!! It felt like there were water everywhere… The air was so humid…
