Oshawa
A review of this place: Things to visit (or stay away from) in Oshawa. — 11 months ago
Not worth it!
+/- The Oshawa Centre – One of the many “malls” in Oshawa, complete with mall rats and a various range of shops from Sears to the Bay.
- Coffee Times (ALL) – APPROACH WITH CAUTION usually 10+ creepy burnouts outside trying to bum change and smokes off innocent by passers. The Coffee tastes like urine and the doughnuts have plaster in them.
+ Community Centre Park – I’m not quite sure if it is in Whitby or not but there is a fun park off Taunton with rubber ground and a water park. It’s greate for late night hangouts and general spinning around until you puke fun!
- Midtown Mall – Similar to coffee time, approach with caution. It’s more of an open strip plaza than anything, filled with burnouts and hookers, it also has an A&P and a Dollarama, that’s pretty much it.
+ Durham College – It’s an alright educational facility but really I just like the giant stargate on the front lawn.
+/- The Dungeon – Known as an “alternative” bar, many shows go down here, I haven’t been there since the famous “EMO VS PUNK” “fight” that occurred there many years ago. I once saw a guy take a leak in a garbage can next to me, all in all it’s a classy place.
+/- Downtown – Starting a wee bit past Adeilade (sorry for spelling i haven’t slept in 2 days) and ending just before City Hall it’s an experience you won’t ever forget. I’ve lived in that area most of my life. It contains about 3 comic book stores(one which smells of eggs and b.o) and about 50 pawn shops, shirtless men with beards and bad tattoos roam the streets outside Mr. Sub and if you are lucky sometimes you’ll see an Oshawa Lady of the night ;)
+/- The Lake/Lake View park – It smells like fart and I’m sure there are dead pigs in the water, but it’s ok for fireworks and drug deals.
OSHAWA WATER it isn’t a place, but it is something you might consume, please don’t drink the shwater, beavers pee in it and there is so much chlorine in it the public pool is jealous.
That’s my review of the place I’ve lived in all my life, I’m sure I’m missing a whole bunch of places, but I’m tired and not in the mood, sorry baby.
