Write an entry Entries about this placeWhy I want to go to Toronto by PernilleTo visit Lisseth & Paul! about 1 year agoYay for T.O. by Rachel MurrayI’m biased because it’s my hometown, but a great city to visit and live. Sir Peter Ustinov called Toronto “New York run by the Swiss”, and it’s true, but in so many ways so much more beautiful and complex than that. Well worth a visit. about 1 year agoGreat city. by Adam JacklinSpent 5 days here in October 09. I was travelling across Canada, from Vancouver to Halifax, and Toronto was on my list of stops. Definately worth visiting. Hopefully the weather will be better next time I go. It rained pretty much all the time. over 2 years agoLittle New York by Andre WhiteI refer to TO as ‘Little New York’ because that’s the closest you’re ever going to come to New York (unless you’ve been to New York). It has all the fancy culture things for those of… culture. Yonge St has a life of its own, West Queen is… an experience and nearly everywhere is accessible via TTC (subway / bus etc). I lived there for about 5 years and think its one of the best places to live in North America. Oh, and its clean. over 2 years agoSee all 452 entries |
