If you live in Chiba and have a car, then it’s a nice day trip. If you’re travelling around Japan, I wouldn’t bother. Beaches in Chiba don’t really compare with Okinawa or other countries, but if you’re looking for a trip out of Tokyo for the weekend, give it a try.
