A review of this place
While it might not look like much, this place is a great place for thai.

A review of this place: Great Thai!
By Carolyn @ The Kingston Guide
There is no shortage of Thai places in Kingston. Most are good, some are great, few are both great and cheap. Wok In is that dazzling combination of the two.
Wok In is a tiny, dirty, hole-in-the wall tucked away on Montreal Street. Or rather, it’s a ‘hidden gem’. The hours are strange, and there is no point calling before you go. Just keep your fingers crossed that they’ll be doling up a little styrofoam container full of heaven for you. If they aren’t, make the trek to Cambodiana.
Seating is very minimal, and it’s best to just grab takeout and enjoy it somewhere else. Think of this as Thai fast food! There are a few seats, but the place is crowded and can be noisy. It’s best to enjoy the food elsewhere, though you’ll likely be in such a food coma that it won’t matter where the heck you eat the stuff. Be aware, the service can be slow as it’s usually pretty busy, but I assure you, it’s worth the wait.
Everything on the menu is good. I’m not a big Pad Thai fan, but the stuff here is divine. Any curry option is great, especially the red curry, and everyone seems to love the Siam Delight. To be honest, they do what they do well, and if it’s on the menu, then it’s worth trying.
The beauty of Wok In, aside from the sublime food, are the cheap prices. You sort of feel like you are robbing the place. You are hard pressed to find a dish on the menu over $6, and the portions are big.
We recommend: a couple of containers of takeout and a movie and you are all set for the perfect evening in.
