A review of this place: Good Poutine...
By Tim/Carolyn @ The Kingston Guide
No one goes to Bubba’s for pizza. No no. They go for artery-clogging, greasy poutine that makes you feel like god shoved his hand down your throat. It is the perfect drunken/self-indulgent food.
Bubba’s also offers a selection of other deep fried delights- and pizza- but none are quite so divine as the poutine. It’s open late late, usually to siphon off the crowd as last call comes around.
Bubba’s prices are average – a small pizza is about $15, but it does come with a free small poutine. Burgers are $3.75 and a regular poutine starts at $5.95. If you go crazy and order the large Italian poutine (covered in cheese and meat sauce!) it’s $7.95, but you likely won’t need another meal for days.
There are two locations: one on Princess, and the other on King. Both offer the same fatty goodness. Burgers and other fare are available as well- you can save the poutine for dessert.
We recommend: The poutine of course. This is the kind of stuff our national identity is made of.
