Pskov

Pskov is the third-oldest town on the former Rus´-land after Kiev and Velikij Novgorod. First mentioned in 903 it was one of the most important towns in the middle ages. Therefor you can still find an amazing Kremlin an an even more impressing amount of very typically stiled churches all over the city. Not at least the Icons museum is worth visiting (Look in the Lonely Planet!). And: Almost no tourists!
