Makati

... was just the other day :P i am currently studying web design in Makati. i was fortunate enough to work in a company wherein they have an office in RCBC… the first time i went there was a newly graduated in college and was looking for work… i was in awe by the sheer size of the building and at the same time culture shocked because of different kinds of people who work there. all i can say is that im used to the hustle and bustle of this busy city.

i just wish that i can work here by the time i finish the web design course. :)

If you’re an urban person, Makati is for you. You can find all the high rise buildings, the first class hotels, malls, businesses and people here.;)

Went here for work, when I was working for Intel.

Makati, business center of the Philippines. This is also my birthplace. The land where jeepney (1940s WWII jeep) is popular public transportation. However, i bought my first car while working here at the old age of 24.

Known as the Financial Center of the Philippines, life in Makati has been very lively from dusk till dawn… It is in this place where I was able to develop my talents and abilities as I spent my high school days in one of its premier high schools. It is also in this place where I was able to make use of what I have learned academically as I render my first work in its city government. You know that you are in Makati if you could see busy people and raging cars passing by its major streets yet you could still feel the cool and relaxing breeze of the air.

i havent been home in four years now. sometimes i wake up in the morning and realized i am in new zealand!! i have been dreaming i was back in my country and even have the same feeling and the same nostalgic atmosphere as if i am really home..then again…its just another balmy night in auckland, and i was in a very deep sleep, tired from work and definitely needs a holiday..if only..

There are nice shopping malls and the Greenbelt is totally awesome! I fell in love with Dad’s Resturaunt in the Oakwood Center. It’s buffet style with a nice sushi bar. It offers a variety of cuisines including Filipino, Western and Japanese. All in all, a fine dining experience for about 20-25 USD. There is also a Hard Rock Cafe located in the same complex. The Greenbelt was lots of fun. We had a blast at the Club Havana. The atmosphere was vibrant and everyone was having a great time. We were asked to share our table with a group of French tourist, some of whom were gay, but it wasn’t that bad. They were friendly and fascinated by the fact that I wasn’t barbaric, being an American born citizen and all. The included photo was taken by a friendly local. We were a bit tired from the jet lag but it was still a fun time.

this is the place to go if you want to go clubbing..

i was born here! and i miss this place every single day of my life!!! i remember back when i use to live there…so much memories! i wish to visit it soon..when i’ve saved up enough money…and visit my relatives that i’ve left behind.
