the one thing i wanted to bring home was the scent… crisp air, burning fragrant grass, and yak butter lamps.
the atmosphere in Barkhor Square is unbelievably amazing – where tourists + locals mesh and mingle into the appreciation.
i spent a day in the area people-watching, photo-taking, charcoal-drawing. a nice place to unwind after arduous backpacking!
