It’s a nice place, just not worth travelling there specially to visit. Drop by if you happen to be South Korea, but otherwise, don’t bother.

Some of the roadside attractions can be cheesy, but the whole island is gorgeous! I especially loved the old nutmeg forest (I don’t remember the name). There’s also alot of caves to go hiking through. I agree with the previous posts, the people are more reserved but they do cater well to tourists. over 6 years agoUntitled by wubeccaIf you don’t speak Korean, it’s best that you plan a bit ahead with a Korean friend or know ahead of time—nothing is catered to people who speak English. I arrived at the Jeju airport, thinking that there’d be SOMETHING that I could arrange through the Jeju tourist board but there was nothing. I was lucky enough to have a few korean tourists on the tour that i took that could speak a little English! over 6 years agoSee all 17 entries |
