A request for more information

I was in Lucknow for a couple of weeks at a time in 1979 and 1980, and then for 3 months in 1982. I am planning on returning next year. I wish to research a particular area of town. I believe it was immediately off Hazratganj, maybe between there and Lucknow Christian College. (After 25 years, it’s hard for me to remember the route this or that rickshaw driver took.) What I remember was passing through a complex of buildings that had once been a residence of an Avadh Dynasty ruler. Many of the buildings were in an advanced state of decline. I think squatters were living in portions, especially along Hazratganj. Paved roads now run through the compound. On one trip through, someone indicated an area as having been the harem. Someone also pointed out a carp motif on an arched passageway, explaining that carp was a symbol of the Avadh Dynasty. I have just uploaded a photo from 1982 at India > Uttar Pradesh > Lucknow. I captioned it Avadh Dynasty carp motif. Could anyone please tell me what this compound or area is called? I would like to do further research on its history. Thanks.
