Indeed it is pink. Or more a dusty pink. Loved the city, the people, the whole ambience…...went on a business trip but had time to see Amber palace and fort, Jaigarth fort, City Place and of course Hawa Mahal. Definately would love to go back for some more Paneer Tikka!

It may be possible for me to go there already this fall on a business trip. I work with jewellery and we have a workshop there who produces some of our thíngs.

The colour pink….bazaars full of silks….flat cut diamonds….curry…..culture slash poverty…..obnoxious slash helpful – India is the land of contradictions but somehow always with a sense of beauty.

Loved it for its old forts, Rajputana palaces
Hot but lovely warm people
and amazing food… and ofcourse, amazing Indian handicrafts..
Will go there soon just for shopping trip :)
